The drama series Ghost Doctor will soon air to replace the drama slot Secret Royal Inspector & Joy. This drama will star Rain, UEE, Kim Bum, and Son Na Eun.
Ghost Doctor will be a comeback drama for Rain and UEE who have been in the acting world for years. The drama script was written by the writer of the drama Live Up to Your Name, Kim Eun Hee.
Meanwhile, the director’s chair will be occupied by Boo Sung Chul, who has directed various popular dramas such as Your Honor, Mask, The Heirs, My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho, and You’re Beautiful.
Ghost Doctor Synopsis:
This supernatural medical genre drama series is about two doctors from very different backgrounds with opposite personalities and medical skills.
Cha Young Min (Rain) is a genius doctor, with superior skills in surgery, but he is arrogant and selfish. One day, he gets involved in an unexpected case, and because of that, his spirit enters the body of another doctor, namely Seong Tak (Kim Bum). These two doctors are completely opposite, with opposite personalities and medical abilities.
While Young Min is arrogant and cold-blooded, who only cares about his career, and doesn’t care about the personal stories of his patients, Seong Tak is the luckiest and richest resident doctor whose grandfather is the founder of the hospital Myung Shin and his mother is the chairman of the hospital. Never wanting to become a good doctor, he is processed by two ghost doctors with completely different backgrounds.
Meanwhile, Jang Se Jin (UEE), a 38-year-old woman who is Young Min’s ex-lover and an overseas neurosurgeon. She was raised by a single mother. Oh Soo Jeong (Son Na Eun), a 28-year-old girl who is an intern at the emergency department who believes in supernatural phenomena.
This drama will contain 16 episodes which will start airing on January 3, 2022 on tvN and TVING. Ghost Doctor will air every Monday and Tuesday. So, don’t miss the first episode.
