Gong Yoo and Kim Tae Ri Targeted to Star in Drama Writer Kingdom

Gong Yoo and Kim Tae Ri may be teaming up in a new Korean drama. Both are targeted to star in a drama written by Kingdom writer, Kim Eun Hee.

Reported by a number of South Korean media, Kim Eun Hee is preparing a new Korean drama to be aired on SBS entitled The Devil. Kim Tae Ri and Gong Yoo were both targeted to be the main characters, but the respective management confirmed that no decision had been made yet.

“The Devil is one of the project titles offered to Kim Tae Ri. But until now we still haven’t decided anything,” said Management mmm as the management that oversees Kim Tae Ri.

“It’s true that Gong Yoo got an offer to star in The Devil. The drama is one of the projects that we are still reviewing,” explained Mangement SOOP, which is Gong Yoo’s management.

Until now, Kim Eun Hee still hasn’t revealed the synopsis of The Devil. However, this will be the first time in seven years that the writer will be working with SBS again.

Kim Eun Hee’s last Korean drama that aired on SBS was Three Days. The drama, starring Son Hyun Joo and Park Yoochun, was released in 2014.

Previously, Kim Eun Hee had also worked with SBS through the drama Sign and Phantom. In recent years, he has mostly worked on projects with tvn through Signal and Jirisan, as well as Netflix through Kingdom.

Meanwhile, Kim Tae Ri is currently working on a new drama titled Twenty-Five Twenty-One. The drama will air on February 12, 2022.

Meanwhile, Gong Yoo’s latest action can be seen through The Silent Sea. The drama aired on Netflix for 8 episodes.
