CANTIKA.COM, Jakarta – Four-time Olympic gold medalist gymnast, Simone Biles share the happy news on their social media accounts. On Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2022, she is engaged to Jonathan Owens, her lover.
Jonathan looks down on his knees when proposing and gives the ring to Simone who is standing in front of him. Simone and Jonathan compactly dressed in gray. The 24-year-old woman wore a dark gray mini dress, while the football player who is also a defensive defender for Houston Texas wore a light gray suit.
“YES EASIEST. I can’t wait to spend forever & ever with you, you are everything I dream of and more! let’s get married, my fiancé,” he wrote in the caption of the uploaded photo, Tuesday, February 15, 2022.
Talk about engagement ring Simone, Jonathan prepared special details with Zo Frost, designer and founder of the jewelry brand of the same name.
“Jonathan has been a client and friend for several years and I had the pleasure of helping him create this very special ring,” he told Page Six Style.
“He and I started the process together a few months ago to select the perfect diamond for Simone which was handpicked by Jonathan.”
After choosing a 3-carat diamond stone in F color and VVS2 clarity, Frost added, Owens chose to accentuate its beauty with extra design details.
“She wanted to add a special touch to the ring by adding a halo around the oval diamond,” she said.
Houston-based Frost, who has also worked with rap superstars Drake and Young Thug to athletes including LaMelo Ball from the Charlotte Hornets to Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, was a great choice to help design Biles’ ring.
“@zofrost you are amazing with this one bro really made tonight special,” Jonahan wrote on his Instagram when announcing the engagement last Tuesday.
