CANTIKA.COM, Jakarta – Supermodel, Naomi Campbell shares stories about her life as a mother. Currently Naomi is the mother of a daughter. For him, having a daughter was the best thing he had ever done. “I will do everything for him, selflessly,” he said.
It still vividly captures the moment Naomi surprised fans when she announced that she would welcome a baby girl in May 2021.
Now, in a new interview with British Vogue, Campbell has revealed new details about raising a daughter, from her daughter’s growing personality to how she maintains her motherhood.
“I always knew that one day I would be a mother, but it was the greatest happiness I could ever imagine. I’m lucky to have one and I know that,” she told the magazine, adding that she had encouraged some of her older friends to have babies too. “I tell them all, do it! Do not hesitate!”

Campbell, who plans to write a memoir that will include the story of his daughter’s arrival, continued, “I can count on one hand the number of people who knew I had her. But he is the greatest blessing I could ever imagine. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done.” And although the details of her daughter’s birth are largely unknown, the model clarified, “He’s not adopted — he’s my child.”
Some of those in Campbell’s circle who have met her daughter include fellow models Cindy Crawford and Christy Turlington, who rose to fame in the ’90s.
“Yes, we have a group chat,” Campbell confirmed his fraternity with Crawford, Turlington, and Linda Evangelista. Crawford first met little Campbell when he was just a few days old, while Turlington visited him when he was just under two weeks old.
Her daughter also seems to be the perfect travel companion, having joined Campbell on flights to France, Qatar and Los Angeles. “I’m lucky my little one loves to travel as much as I do—no whining on takeoff or landing,” she explains.
“She’s a good girl: she sleeps very well, she hardly ever cries and I was told she is very alert for her age. He just started waving, it was fun. He laughs a lot. He almost spoke.”
About her daughter’s personality, Campbell added that, “I was like a kid again. I relive nursery rhymes, play and discover how many great new toys there are in the world! And dolls! Things I couldn’t even dream of.”
He continued, “My daughter came first. Everything I do, I do for him—that’s all. Truly selfless, isn’t it?”
