TRIBUNNEWS.COM – Former United States (US) President Barack Obama was exposed to Covid-19, Sunday (13/3/2022).
“I had an itchy throat for a few days,” Obama wrote on his account Twitter.
“But I feel fine,” Obama said.
Obama added that his wife, Michelle Obama’s test results were negative.

“Thank God Michelle and I were vaccinated and got a boost,” the 44th former US president said in a Facebook post.
“This is a reminder that, even as cases drop, you should be vaccinated and get a booster. Do it to help prevent more serious symptoms and pass Covid-19 on to others,” Obama wrote.
Obama, 60, recently returned to Washington, DC, after spending most of the winter in Hawaii.
A person close to Obama said he tested positive while in DC.

The diagnosis makes Obama the second US president known to have contracted COVID-19.
Previously the 45th US President, Donald Trump announced he was infected with the Corona virus in October 2020, before a vaccine was widely available in the US.
