OPPO really kept its promise to launch the OPPO Pad together with the OPPO Find X5 Series. Yes! Finally, OPPO has officially entered the tablet market to compete with Xiaomi, Huawei, and of course Samsung, which has had the Galaxy Tab Series for a long time.

The OPPO Pad is OPPO’s first tablet to arrive with an 11-inch screen. This tablet is supplied by Snapdragon 870 as the driving force, and what is no less interesting is that it comes with the OPPO Pencil stylus. Unfortunately, the stylus is sold separately, much like what Xiaomi did.

Supplied by Snapdragon 870, of course, this tablet deserves to be included in the ranks of flagship devices. This is also coupled with a design that looks so premium, with a metal frame and a layer of frosted glass on the back.

OPPO Pad has a thickness of 6.99mm and weighs 507 grams. Meanwhile, in the screen sector, this tablet still uses an LTPS LCD screen and has a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels. Of course, what is no less interesting is the refresh rate it has, which is 120Hz.

The screen also supports HDR10 content and has a symmetrical bezel with an 8 MP front camera integrated into the side bezel. The back features a somewhat flamboyant dual-tone finish with the OPPO branding in large letters near the 13MP rear camera.

The OPPO Pad is also equipped with four speakers and has Dolby Atmos support and Hi-Res audio certification. Snapdragon 870 from Qualcomm loaded into this tablet is assisted by 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage.

Then, what about the power supply sector? The OPPO Pad is powered by an 8,300 mAh battery with fast charging. As for the interface, this tablet runs on ColorOS for Pad developed by OPPO from ColorOS 12. The operating system itself is Android 11.

OPPO has also equipped the OPPO Pad with multi-screen collaboration options for select OPPO smartphones. Thanks to this feature, it will make it easier for users to transfer files faster and at the same time mirroring smartphones on the tablet screen. Yes! This is the latest innovation offered by OPPO.

The OPPO Pencil stylus supports 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity and can attach to the tablet via magnets. When attached to the tablet, the stylus can charge a full charge that lasts up to 13 hours. OPPO also sells other accessories, such as an optional keyboard case for CNY 399 (Rp 900 thousand).

However, for users who are interested in buying the OPPO Pencil, this stylus retails for CNY 499 (Rp 1.1 million). The OPPO Pad comes in Black and Purple as well as the Artist Edition which is of course a limited edition. The Artist Edition is wrapped in Silver.

The most basic OPPO Pad model, which is 6GB/128GB, will sell for CNY 2,299 (Rp5.2 million) while the 8GB/256GB model, or the top one will sell for CNY 2,999 (Rp6.8 million). Open sales in China will begin on March 3. Meanwhile, OPPO has not detailed pricing and availability in international markets.
