At the launch of the OPPO A76 a few days ago, OPPO introduced the OPPO A55. Now, OPPO A55 is officially launched in the Indonesian market. This smartphone provides complete performance, especially providing users with a device that can produce the best photo shots through the ultra-clear camera it carries.
“OPPO A55 launched as the successor to the A54 by bringing improvements, especially in terms of the 50 MP ultra clear camera. Not only that, we have also supplied this smartphone with a large 5,000 mAh battery, and a modern 6.51-inch punch-hole screen,” said Aryo Meidianto A, PR Manager of OPPO Indonesia.
Even though it is a middle-class device, OPPO continues to strive for a stylish design on the OPPO A55. OPPO provides two color options on the A55. The first color is Rainbow Blue which gives a color gradation from blue to silver and refracts the rainbow colors to its back cross section.
Second, there is the Starry Black color which looks elegant by displaying the OPPO Glow design which is strengthened so that it is scratch resistant and fingerprint-free. The 3D curved design makes the device comfortable in one hand, especially with the thinner middle frame and weighing only 193 grams.
For security, OPPO places Side Fingerprint Unlock which is integrated with the power button on the edge of the frame. This makes the A55 look clean and very modern. OPPO A55 embeds an AI Triple HD camera with a True 50 MP AI Camera configuration, 2 MP bokeh camera and 2 MP macro camera.
The camera is arranged in a Dual Main-Camera design with a decorative ring that gives the impression of a premium device. Users are provided with typical OPPO camera features such as Backlight HDR to maintain photo background details.
There’s also a Night Mode feature for adjusting exposure in low-light environments and a Night Plus filter on the rear camera. This allows the A55 to capture even more stunning night view photos. The 16 MP selfie camera is equipped with the AI Beautification feature.
Other features found on this device include Dazzle Color, Photo Filter and Pano Shot. Not to forget, Fill Light 360° offers a new way to capture clearer selfies in low-light environments by illuminating the subject of the photo using additional light coming from the screen.
To support more day use, OPPO equips A55 with a 5,000 mAh battery that can be used for continuous phone calls for more than 29 hours or continuous music listening for more than 24 hours.
For charging, this device is equipped with 18Watt Fast Charge which can recharge the device 33% in 30 minutes. To ensure a longer life, Power Saving Mode will apply power saving strategies to certain applications.
Meanwhile, Super Nighttime Standby will minimize power consumption by only 1.37% when the user falls asleep and forgets to turn off the device. OPPO A55 is equipped with IPX4 Splah – Waterproof certification which frees users from worrying when using the device in drizzling situations.
The OPPO A55 comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage with expansion options with a MicroSD card up to 256 GB. OPPO A55’s 6.51-inch screen will provide an immersive experience for multimedia content and playing games. The screen of the A55 device is also equipped with the All-day Eye Care feature.
OPPO equips the A55 with the ColorOS 11.1 system which runs smoothly thanks to a series of optimization features called System Booster. The system includes Idle Time Optimizer, Storage Optimizer, and UI First 3.0 which can increase the response rate by 5% and frame rate stability by 6.9%.
The OPPO A55 is available in stages starting March 2022 for sale at a price of IDR 2,699,000.
