Ahead of its launch, leaks from Samsung’s flagship smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Series, are still flowing. The latest leak comes from Evan Blass and features an image that appears to be for the official website page on Samsung.com.

As we have all heard, Samsung will offer interesting specifications of the three Galaxy S22 Series models that will be introduced. Yes! It has been confirmed that Samsung will introduce the Galaxy S22 Series, which consists of the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Let’s start with the size. The Galaxy S22 will be the smallest of the three with a 6.1-inch display and 146mm tall, going much shorter than the S21 (151.7mm). Meanwhile, the Galaxy S22+ will retain the 6.6-inch screen. While the S22 Ultra will be slightly shorter and slightly wider than its predecessor.

It’s not without reason that Samsung will make the Galaxy S22 Ultra different from its predecessor. The reason is, this smartphone is designed to accommodate the S Pen, like the Galaxy Note. The three images below show the exact dimensions in millimeters.

All three will also have a 2X Dynamic AMOLED display with a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz and HDR10+ support. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S22 and S22+ will max out 1,300 nits of brightness, while the Ultra will hit an impressive 1,750 nits of brightness.

Next, is the camera sector. The Galaxy S21 Ultra will be featured with a 108 MP main camera, 12 MP ultra-wide, 10 MP telephoto, and 10 MP periscope with Space Zoom up to 100x and Super Clear Glass. While on the front, Samsung will embed a 40 MP selfie camera.

The Galaxy S22 and S22+ will share hardware in the camera sector. First, there will be a 50 MP main camera, 12 MP ultra-wide, and a 10 MP telephoto with 30x Space Zoom (meaning 3x optical magnification). While the front camera remains at 10 MP, this is the fourth year in a row.

What if this smartphone is used to record video? All three will be capable of capturing 8K with “Super HDR” and the best image stabilization on a Galaxy smartphone. The Galaxy S22+ and S22 Ultra will support 45W charging (0-100% in 60 minutes), while the S22 will have to settle for 25W (70 minutes for a full charge).

The charger will be sold separately, mind you, the retail package will only contain the USB C-to-C cable and SIM ejector. The only exception is that the Galaxy S22 Ultra will come with an S Pen (unlike the S21 Ultra). This is because the S22 Ultra will be the first Galaxy S with an integrated S Pen.

The previous device, the S21 Ultra also had similar support, but the smartphone had no place to store the S Pen. The Galaxy Unpacked event that will officially unveil the Galaxy S22 Series smartphones (and Tab S8 Series tablets) is scheduled for February 9, 2022.
