Samsung has quietly introduced two of its newest products in Indonesia which are specially designed for field workers from various industries such as medical workers, mechanics, financial sector workers to mining workers. The two newest products are the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active3
“Not all workers carry out their duties behind the desk, field workers also have an important role in maintaining business continuity. Lukman added, to answer that need, Samsung designed the Galaxy XCover 5 and Galaxy Tab Active3. Equipped with powerful rugged features and military-standard durability, workers remain productive, easily access work applications while maintaining safety protocols.
Galaxy XCover 5 and Galaxy Tab Active3 combine toughness and comfort into a handy and durable product, perfect for tough and challenging work environments. Both devices are MIL-STD-810H certified to withstand the most extreme work environments.
In addition, both of them are also able to absorb the impact even if they fall from a height of 1.5 meters. Not only that, Samsung has also equipped the Galaxy XCover 5 and Galaxy Tab Active3 with an IP68 rating standard for resistance to dust, dirt, and sand, as well as water resistance when submerged in a depth of up to one meter for 30 minutes.
Another important rugged feature in both is Touch Sensitivity: when this feature is activated, users can continue to use the device comfortably even when wearing gloves. There is no time wasted removing gloves and keeping the user safe and protected while continuing their work.
To maintain business continuity, Samsung provides guaranteed upgrade support for up to three generations of Android OS for the Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 and Galaxy Tab Active3. Both devices are also equipped with regular Android security updates and protection from Samsung Knox.
