The Terrible Record of the Former World Badminton King at the German Open

VIVA – The 2022 BWF World Tour Super 300 German Open starts soon. Taking place tomorrow, March 8-13 at Westenergie Sporthalle, Mülheim an der Ruhr.

Talking about this tournament, it’s been two years since it was abolished. In 2021 and 2020 it was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Well, in the 2019 edition there are a number of world badminton players who shine. Japan looked terrible and dominated in this tournament.

Quoting from the official BWF website, there were six Japanese representatives who appeared in the final. The rest, there are Thailand, China, Korea and Indonesia.

In the final of the German Open 2019, two All Japan Finals were presented. The two parties were in the men’s doubles and men’s singles sector.
The rest, representatives of Japan fill the women’s singles sector. Also in women’s doubles. Two titles were clearly won in men’s doubles and men’s singles.

Kento Momota’s Terrible Note

In the 2019 edition, former world badminton king Kento Momota appeared fierce. He won the title there.
