VIVA Everton midfielder, Donny Van De Beek, wants to prove his quality with The Toffees after being dumped by Manchester United.

Van De Beek is loaned by Manchester United to Everton until the end of this season. The 24-year-old needed minutes to play after failing to appear regularly at Old Trafford for a season and a half.

Van de Beek was brought in by Man United from Ajax for £39 million in the 2020 summer transfer market. However, in total he only appeared four times as a starter in the English Premier League.

“Yes, but it’s also for everyone around me,” said Van de Beek, quoted from Everton’s official website, Wednesday 2 March 2022.

“If I play well, I do it for them: my partner, family and friends. I want to give joy to them, and the fans. Then I want to do it for myself. Of course, sometimes I am disappointed and frustrated, ” he added.

Needless to say, he was frustrated. However, Van de Beek believes there will be a glimmer of hope to shine.

“But I always try to stay positive and believe that there will be a day when everything will change. I can only change it with hard work, I want to show that some people are wrong and I still have the quality to play,” he said.
