Derby which was originally expected to be exciting, instead became an arena for the Citizens to show their class and beat MU with a score of 4-1.

The home team dominated from the start of the game. Kevin De Bruyne broke the deadlock in the 5th minute with a shot from close range.

Man United’s back line, which appeared in tatters from the first minute, was successfully exploited by the Belgian national team player who escaped the guard.

City continued to threaten to double their lead, but United were able to equalize through Jadon Sancho’s beautiful goal from outside the box in the 22nd minute.

After conceding the goal, City’s game continued to develop and not long ago they managed to restore their advantage before half-time.

Kevin De Bruyne successfully doubled the number of goals. Back through close range, after a wild ball kick from Phil Foden could not be secured by MU’s back line that looked bad.

The second half further showed the class gap between the two sides, as Manchester City took the initiative in the game from the start.

Pep Guardiola’s side practically dominated possession and added another goal through Riyad Mahrez. His volley got into De Gea’s goal through a slight deflection. Mahrez scored again at the end of the game and closed the game with a score of 4-1 for City to win.
