Dustin Poirier vs Conor McGregor.
INDOSPORT.COM – Conor McGregor’s injury continues to gradually recover, and he is predicted to make a comeback to fight in the UFC.
Conor McGregor is starting to gradually recover from his severe injury, namely a broken leg when he faced Dustin Poirier in July 2021 at UFC 264.
The Irish athlete’s left ankle was broken and bent, forcing him to be unable to continue the fight.
A few days after the fight, McGregor immediately underwent surgery to treat the injury. This forced him to be out of action for a long time to recover.
Now McGregor’s injury is starting to recover. This certainty can be seen from the moment he trains in the gym through his Instagram social media account.
Not only that, McGregor’s body also looks bigger and muscular than before. He admitted that his weight had increased to 85 kilograms.
With that weight, McGregor is believed to be moving up to the UFC welterweight division if he returns to fight, however, he has yet to reveal a comeback schedule to the octagon arena.
Even though UFC boss, Dana White, hopes the fighter nicknamed The Notorious can return soon.
“I think so, yes. He did all the right things to recover from his leg injury,” Dana White told TMZ Sports.
“I hope he can come back this summer,” he said of Conor McGregor’s comeback.
