VIVA – Bali United have not thought about the 2021-2022 Indonesian Liga 1 title and have chosen to focus on their next match against Persiraja on Friday (11 March 2022) at Kompyang Sujana Stadium, Denpasar, Bali.
“Our closest match is against Persiraja and we will work hard to win it,” said Bali United coach Stefano “Teco” Cugurra in a virtual press conference, Sunday night, March 6 2022.
Teco asked its players not to be carried away by a situation where they are in a leading position in the competition to win.
Bali United, which is now in first place in the standings and three points ahead of second position Persib, only has five games remaining in Liga 1 this season.
Stefano Cugurra didn’t want his squad to slip in one of those final games. Concentration and focus is also the key.
“Right now, we have five games. Winning four of them we can become champions. So, we have to work hard in every game. I think, with good organization and tactics, we can do it,” said the Brazilian tactician. .
