SEOUL, celebrities.id – Actor Lee Jung Jae won another award for his performance in the megahit series ‘Squid Game’.
Reporting from AllKpop, Monday (7/3/2022), Lee Jung Jae won the award for Best Male Actor in a Film Series from the 37th Independent Spirit Awards. Unfortunately, Lee Jung Jae was unable to attend the event due to work matters.
“Thank you for giving me such a meaningful and loving ‘Squid Game’ award. Since many people around the world love ‘Squid Game’, many are wondering when season 2 will air. Wait a little longer. And thank you again,” he said in a video message that aired in the middle of the event.
The Independent Spirit Awards is an independent film award event which is held every year.
Last year, actress Youn Yuh Jung won the Best Supporting Actress award for her role in ‘Minari’.
