It is located not far from Shanghai, which is actually densely populated.

Previously, the village was home to more than 2,000 residents.

One by one the residents decided to move because the location was difficult to reach.

In addition, the low economy and inadequate education were also the reasons for the abandonment of the village.

Since being abandoned by its residents, the village has been covered with vines and appears to be filled with green.

The streets and the walls of the buildings are all covered with weeds, almost exactly like the ghost village in the movies.

This city in the United States has become one of the dead, uninhabited cities.

Its population decreased drastically from 2,761 residents in 1980 to just 10 people in 2010.

The decline in population was caused by a coal mine fire in 1962.

Initially, the community felt it was okay to live there so they decided not to move.

However, a severe fire broke out and forced the residents to evacuate.

Until 2019, the place became one of the forbidden cities to visit.

It is known that the flames can still be found in the ground and can be dangerous.

Uniquely, this city still has one church building that is still continuing its ministry.
