It seems that Xiaomi is preparing to announce the Xiaomi CIVI 2 phone. This is because there is a leak of a mysterious phone with a slim design.
The Xiaomi CIVI was announced last year in September as a women-focused phone. This device comes with a slim design, 120 Hz screen, 32 MP front camera, and Snapdragon 778G processor. According to information obtained by Digital Chat Station, the Chinese manufacturer is working on a selfie-focused phone in China. Specifications shared by a tipster this suggests that it could be a CIVI branded phone.
The tipster revealed that this mysterious Xiaomi phone will be equipped with a thin and light chassis. The OLED screen it uses has a Full HD + (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution and refresh rate 120 Hz. This upcoming device is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 778G Plus processor.
It will feature a 32 MP camera for taking photos selfie and a 64 MP main camera on the back. The device will offer MIUI 13 interface. Probably, it will run on top of Android 12 operating system.
Reported from Gizmochina (9/3), the leak has no information on RAM/storage capacity and phone battery size. However, it is mentioned that the device will have support for 55W fast charging. Xiaomi might announce the phone this month or in April.
The leak above suggests that the next CIVI model could be a gradual upgrade over the Xiaomi CIVI model. Note that early phone models featured a 6.55-inch curved edge OLED panel that offered Full HD+, refresh rate 120HZ, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The processor it uses is Snapdragon 778G combined with 6GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. The device packs a 4,500 mAh battery with 55W fast charging.
