Worried Jorge Martin, Pecco Bagnaia Apologizes

VIVA – Lenovo Ducati racer Francesco Bagnaia apologized to Jorge Martin after causing an accident in the Qatar 2022 MotoGP race at the Losail Circuit, on Sunday 6 March 2022 evening WIB. The incident between Bagnaia and Martin occurred when the race was about to enter the 12th lap.

Bagnaia collided with the Pramac Racing racer so that both of them could not continue the race. Bagnaia felt that he was the cause of the accident, and apologized to Jorge Martin.

“In Qatar, I always had problems with the front tire because of my driving style. But it was a solid race,” Bagnaia wrote in a post on his personal Instagram account.

“I am very sorry for my mistake involving Jorge Martin. I apologize to Jorge Martin, Pramac Racing, and also Ducati Lenovo,” continued the racer who is familiarly called Pecco.

At the time of the incident, Pecco, who was riding his motorbike, lost traction on the front tire. This resulted in the Italian racer falling to nudge Jorge Martin.

As a result, they were forced to withdraw from the race and failed to finish in the inaugural MotoGP race this season.
