INDOSPORT.COM – French manufacturer Alpine has launched a Formula One (F1) car for the 2022 season. Tones of pink and blue, Alpine’s latest car features a cool design.
Alpine became the ninth team to unveil its car ahead of this weekend’s first winter test. Their A522 was designed with radical new rules in mind, with cleaner aerodynamics swept to the rear and larger 18-inch wheels to enhance racing. wheel-to-wheel.
The car also features a revised livery, with a pink color scheme paired with blue. Alpine’s target is to fight for the championship in 100 races from the start of the new F1 rules era, which will kick off with the season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix on March 20.

Alpine have recently upgraded their technical department and last week announced the signing of former Aston Martin team boss Otmar Szafnauer as new team head.
This was done as a move aimed at reversing their position. The team, heading into 2022 with recently unchanged drivers, doubles world champion Fernando Alonso and Frenchman Esteban Ocon, returned to the top of the podium last season with Ocon giving them their first win since the 2013 Australian Grand Prix in Hungary.
