Will Poulter to Play Adam Warlock in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

Will Poultera talented actor who has appeared in interesting films such as Midsommar, We’re the Millers, and Black Mirror: Bandersnatchis rumored to be playing the character of Adam Warlock in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. As we know, this character was “teased” by his presence in the post-credits scene in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. This news was also confirmed by James Gunn through his social media account.

Previously, there was news that director James Gunn had been hunting for the right actor to play the character since late August. As for Poulter himself, he recently appeared in Barry Jenkins’ Amazon series entitled The Underground Railroad and will soon be seen alongside Michael Keaton in the miniseries Dopesick.

For information, Adam Warlock, originally known as Him or Adam made his first appearance in Fantastic Four #66–67 (1967) and Thor #163-166 (April–July 1969). It was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and later developed by Roy Thomas and Jim Starlin. This character possesses all superhuman powers such as speed, endurance, stamina, agility, and the ability to manipulate cosmic energy for energy projection, flight, self-recovery and immortality.

The film will reprise the franchise’s main cast such as Chris Pratt as Peter Quill aka Star-Lord; Zoe Saldana as Gamora; Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer; Vin Diesel as Groot; Bradley Cooper as Rocket; Karen Gillan as Nebula; and Pom Klementieff as Mantis.

There’s quite a bit of Guardians of the Galaxy content coming up in the near future, Square Enix’s Guardians of the Galaxy video game will be releasing this October 26th, and in 2022 fans will be able to see The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Specialwritten and directed by James Gunn to be screened by Disney+.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 it will be temporarily released on May 5, 2023.
