Carven Now Has a New Creative Director.

Carven had appointed Serge Ruffieux as creative director The new one, occupies a position that has been vacant for a long time after being left by the previous designer duo, Alexis Martial and Adrien Caillaudaud in October last year.

Serge Ruffieux himself has considerable experience, where for almost 10 years he worked for the fashion house Dior, holding the role of chief designer for women’s ready-to-wear collections and couture. He briefly filled the vacant position at Dior with Luise Meier, after Raf Simons left and before the entry of Maria Grazia Chiuri. And now, his career in Carven will be his solo debut.

“I’m so excited about my new role in Carven, I can feel the combination of Madame Carven’s character and her vision for fashion,” said Serge Ruffieux in his quote on Vogue.co.uk. “I am very proud to be leading this fashion house as a sign of my new journey.”

Serge Ruffieux will officially join Carven on February 1, with his collection debut for Resort 2018 later. Meanwhile for the debut collection runwayhe will appear in October for collection Spring/Summer 2018 at Paris Fashion Week.
