Sony Pictures re-released promo clips for movies Venom: Let There Be Carnage featuring a brief commentary from the director Andy Serkis and Naomie Harris when they talk and talk about the villain Shriek who has a unique and terrifying relationship with Cletus Kasady. This promo also gives us some new footage of Shriek including his arrival at Eddie and Venom’s apartment.
The 40-second clip shows Andy Serkis talking about how Shriek can be so dangerous. This is why some footage shows him as a maximum security prisoner at the Ravencroft Institute, confined in a soundproof cage accessible only to authorized personnel wearing noise-canceling headphones. As Harris himself explains, “Shriek has the ability to suck in sound and use it as a weapon.” Also, he was obsessed with Cletus and had the same thoughts.
In the comic strip, Shriek first appeared in 1993 in Spider-Man Unlimited Vol. 1, #1 as part of a gang of criminals roaming New York along with Carnage, who is sometimes his partner. Her real name is Frances Louise Barrison, but she also goes by the name Sandra Deel. He is a drug dealer and a mutant with the ability to manipulate sound.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage will show the return Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom, who is one of Marvel’s most complex characters. Meanwhile, Michelle Williams will also return as Anne Weying. This sequel will take place more than a year after the events Venom, with journalist Eddie Brock struggling to adjust to his new life as master of the alien symbiote Venom. This time he will be challenged by serial killer Cletus Kasady, who also hosted the symbiote Carnage and escaped from prison after a failed execution. If Eddie Brock uses Venom’s help to become a vigilante then Kasady just wants to cause chaos and carnage.
