CANTIKA.COM, Jakarta – Jennifer Lopez got a sweet surprise from Ben Affleck ahead of Valentine’s Day. The Marry Me actress revealed in a weekend newsletter that her boyfriend had created a personalized music video for his song “On My Way” from his new film as an early Valentine’s Day gift.
In the nearly 4-minute video, footage of the two lovebirds from their first relationship between 2002 and 2004 is strung together into Lopez’s original music video for “On My Way,” which premiered in December.
“Watching it made me think about the journey of true love, its unexpected twists and turns, and when it’s real, it can literally last forever,” the 52-year-old explained in her On The JLo newsletter. “This really melts my heart.”
The actress and singer also told fans that the video was “very special and personal” and that she would “usually” only share it with her “inner circle”.

Lopez and Ben Affleck got engaged in November 2002 shortly after they started dating, but eventually ended their relationship in January 2004. The couple reconnected in the spring of 2021.
Earlier this month, Lopez hinted at the couple’s plans for a Valentine’s Day moment, which he said included going to Super Bowl LVI at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, on Sunday, the day before the holiday.
“I think we might go to the game,” he said during an appearance on Live with Kelly and Ryan, noting that “we” were “some of us; you know, the inner circle.” When asked by host Ryan Seacrest who was in the circle, Lopez replied, “Just the two of us.”
He didn’t go into further details, though he said he and Affleck “had plans” together that night. “But, you know, I’m not going to share it with you now!” Lopez exclaimed before revealing that she too had a “surprise” up her sleeves.
