Instagram account and Twitter official from Cowboy Bebop has released a number of unique posters for the Netflix live-action series. They show some of the villains that will appear in the series along with the amount of prizes that have been assigned to them.
The posters highlight criminals such as Pierre La Fou (Josh Randall), a deadly assassin who dresses as a clown, terrorist Maria Murdock (Adrienne Barbeau), Teddy Bomber (Rodney Cook), a terrorist who uses teddy bear bombs in his fight against capitalism, syndicate member Asimov Solensan (Jan Uddin), and Abdul Hakim (Cali Nelle), a thief who steals a valuable genetically modified dog.
The villains were first revealed in the opening scene of the Cowboy Bebop series last September, which offers a glimpse of them in the scene. This new set of posters from Netflix looks to give fans a better look at the bad guys being hunted by the crew of the Bebop spaceship – Spike, Jet, and Faye.
Cowboy Bebop starring John Cho as Spike Spiegel, Mustafa Shakir as Jet Black, and Daniella Pineda as Faye Valentine. While the other supporting players are Tamara Tunie as Ana, Mason Alexander Park as Gren, Alex Hassell as Vicious, and Elena Satine as Julia. André Nemec serves as showrunner while Christopher Yost is writing the script for the series. The anime series director Watanabe is serving as a consultant, and music composer Yoko Kanno is also returning to work.
While the official synopsis for this live-action series is:
“Cowboy Bebop is an action-packed series about three bounty hunters, aka “Cowboy,” who all try to run from their respective pasts. Though different and deadly, Spike Spiegel (John Cho), Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir), and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda) can form a crew ready to hunt down the solar system’s most dangerous criminals — for the right price. But even if they were able to get rid of various intrigues and obstacles, it was only a matter of time before their past finally caught up with them.”
