INDOSPORT.COM – UFC president Dana White made a list of the top five fighters and Khabib Nurmagomedov only finished fifth. While Conor McGregor was not mentioned by the president at all.

White chose Nigeria’s Kamaru Usman and Britain’s Jon Jones over the unbeaten Nurmagomedov in the UFC lightweight division.

The Russian fighter himself has decided to retire in 2020 after defeating Justin Gathje and McGregor. There are also many UFC fans who idolize Nurmagomedov.

“I voted for Jon Jones, Kamaru Usman, Georges St-Pierre and Anderson Silva,” Dana White told Yahoo Sports.

“Anderson fought more and he was there longer. Khabib’s dominance is unbelievable and like you said, it was a different era with different skills and levels.”

Jon Jones is a two-time UFC Lightweight champion and has his name inscribed in the UFC Hall of Fame.

Meanwhile, Anderson Silva has been a champion in the middleweight class and has successfully defended his belt 10 times, while also fighting in the light-heavyweight class.

Georges St-Pierre is no less phenomenal. He became a champion in two divisions and his name is often referred to as one of the best fighters in UFC history.
