Tight Duel, Indonesia Lagging Behind India in 2022 BATC

VIVA – The Indonesian men’s badminton team faced India in the 2022 Badminton Asia Team Championships (BATC) Group A preliminary match. For the time being, Indonesia was 0-1 behind India.

Appearing at the Setia City Convention Center, Selangor, Malaysia, Friday 18 February 2022, Indonesia fielded Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo in the inaugural match. While India lowered Lakshya Sen.

Chico lost two straight games. There was a tight duel for 46 minutes. Chico finally had to lose 18-21, 25-27.

In the first game, Chico actually had a 13-8 lead. However, Lakshya was able to reverse the numbers at 17-15. Lakshya finally won this duel 21-18.

The match got even more tense in the second game. From the start there was a chase for the score. In fact, when deuce both players still appear adamant. And finally, Lakshya won the duel 27-25.

Currently, the men’s doubles pair Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthun are performing. They met Manjit Singh Khwairakpam/Dingku Singh Konthoujam couple.
