These are Xiaomi’s Four Strategies to Dominate the Indonesian Market in 2022

Xiaomi, welcomes 2022 with a number of strategies to grow with Xiaomi Fans in Indonesia. The achievements that have been made throughout 2021 in Indonesia have created important momentum for Xiaomi to grow and dominate in 2022.

“Xiaomi’s four main strategies for Indonesia in 2022 as a smart choice for Xiaomi fans are strengthening the high-end product portfolio, presenting the AIoT retail experience, ensuring the separation of the Xiaomi and POCO brands, and strengthening the regional market,” said Country Director Xiaomi Indonesia, Alvin. tse.

Xiaomi will continue its commitment to bring high-end products to the Indonesian market after 2021 with the best products from smartphones and AIoT such as Mi 11, Mi 11 Ultra, RedmiBook 15, and Xiaomi Pad 5. Likewise, plans to bring new retail experiences involving products AIoT.

Xiaomi also confirmed the separation from POCO which announced itself as an independent brand in January 2021. Xiaomi and POCO will operate with different strategies and approaches although they still share infrastructure such as after-sales service, manufacturing, and quality control.

Strengthening the regional market is a strategy that Xiaomi is pursuing in 2022, by increasing its retail presence in more places. Likewise, the after-sales network makes it easier to get services that pamper users.

Throughout 2021, Xiaomi achieved a number of achievements, such as presenting high-end products including a new category of AIoT products in the form of laptops and tablets. In addition, it also strengthens retail presence with 400+ Xiaomi Stores including Xiaomi Shops, as well as 4000+ Xiaomi Preferred Partners throughout Indonesia.

Likewise, after-sales service includes 400 service points throughout Indonesia which will make it easier for users. The most historic achievement, of course, is to become the number 1 smartphone brand in Indonesia in Q2 2021 with a market share of 28% and the fastest growth of 112% year-on-year.

“Of course, all the achievements achieved by Xiaomi in the Indonesian market will be a momentum for us to go fast in 2022. Therefore, we will continue to strive to offer the latest innovations to pamper Xiaomi fans in Indonesia,” concluded Alvin.
