This was conveyed directly by Erick Thohir as the Minister of SOEs, where he said that the President, who is familiarly called Jokowi, was scheduled to welcome a group of MotoGP racers.

This was revealed by Erick Thohir at the Press Conference Update for the Preparation of the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia (MotoGP) 2022 on Sunday (6/3/22) yesterday.

The SOE minister said that President Jokowi would welcome premier class riders on Wednesday (16/3/22) or two days before the Mandalika 2022 MotoGP race takes place.

“I want to convey Alhamdulillah, later on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, President Joko Widodo will also receive a group of MotoGP racers who are willing to come to Jakarta,” said Erick Thohir.

Erick Thohir further explained that President Jokowi will meet 17 racers ahead of the 2022 Mandalika MotoGP.
