In this regard, Xiaomi itself is still silent on when the Xiaomi 12 series will be marketed outside of China. A number of rumors say that the flagship smartphone will be sold in the global or international market in February or March this year.
Now, before any announcements made by Xiaomi, the latest smartphone series has appeared on the certification portal in Indonesia. Obviously, this indicates that the Xiaomi 12 series will indeed launch outside China sooner.
Noted, the global model Xiaomi 12 carries the model number 22011123G for Xiaomi 12, and 2201122G for Xiaomi 12 Pro. Yes! Xiaomi 12X does not appear to be marketed by Xiaomi in the global market, at least until now. Unfortunately, the certification site doesn’t reveal any series specs.
If we look at the smartphones launched in China, the Xiaomi 12 has a 6.28-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, and the Pro sports a 6.73-inch 2K AMOLED panel. The duo has a triple camera system, but the vanilla has a 50 MP + 13 MP + 5 MP setup, while the Pro has a 50 MP + 50 MP + 50 MP array.
On the inside, the smartphone is powered by the same chipset. Yes! Both the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro are each powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset from Qualcomm. The chipset is paired with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.
Apart from the camera, the difference between the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro is in the power supply sector. The Xiaomi 12 is powered by a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 64W fast charging via cable and 50W fast charging wirelessly. Meanwhile, the Pro model packs a 4,600 mAh battery with 120W fast charging via cable and 50W fast charging wirelessly.
