The reason PBSI did not include these 11 athletes in the German Open and All England

VIVA – PBSI decided to withdraw 11 badminton players from the German Open and All England 2022. The decision was taken after going through various considerations.

Some of them are due to waiting list problems and injuries. As experienced by Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo and Putri Kusuma Wardani who are on the waiting list.

In the women’s doubles, Ribka Sugiarto/Febby Valencia Dwijayanti Gani and Nita Violina Marwah/Putri Syaikah were also withdrawn because Ribka and Putri were still recovering from injuries.

All of them have just appeared in the Badminton Asia Team Championship 2022.

“So, the players who were withdrawn from the German Open and All England tournaments had their own reasons,” said Broto Happy, Head of Public Relations and Media of PP PBSI in a PBSI release received VIVA.

“There are those who are still on the waiting list and have difficulty getting into the main draw, there are those who are still recovering from injuries, and regarding readiness,” he continued.
