The King’s Man Presents Rows of Cool Character Posters

Welcome film release The King’s Man slated for release on December 22 after a two-year delay, 20th Century Studios has released seven new character posters, each highlighting the main characters in the Matthew Vaughn-directed film.

Seven new character posters released through the account Twitter film The King’s Manfeaturing Rasputin played by Rhys Ifans, then Harris Dickinson and Ralph Fiennes as Conrad and the Duke of Oxford, Djimon Hounsou and Gemma Arterton as Shola and Polly, and Tom Hollander and Matthew Goode as King George V and Captain Morton.

Each poster is tagged with “see #TheKingsMan in two months”, just before Christmas. The final release date is set after more than two years of delay due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The film serves as a prequel to Matthew Vaughn’s two previous Kingsman films, Kingsman: The Secret Service and Kingsman: The Golden Circle, which will detail the story of how the world’s first independent intelligence agency emerged during the upheavals of World War I.

The film’s official synopsis describes that “a band of the worst tyrannical criminals and criminal masterminds come together to plot a war to wipe out millions of people, which in turn spurs the creation of Kingsman.”

The King’s Man directed by Matthew Vaughn starring Harris Dickinson, Daniel Bruhl as Erik Jan Hanussen, Rhys Ifans as Rasputin, Matthew Goode as Captain Morton, Djimon Hounsou as Shola, Gemma Arterton as Polly, Charles Dance as General Kitchener, Tom Hollander as George V/Wilhelm II/Nicholas II, Stanley Tucci and Ralph Fiennes who will fill the role of a “mentor” named the Duke of Oxford as Colin Firth played in the first Kingsman, with Dickinson playing a new recruit named Conrad.

Prequel Kingsman this is the next step in Vaughn’s plan to build a Kingsman universe that includes a TV series and sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle/Kingsman 3as well as a spin-off about Statesmen.
