Movies are one of the most important forms of entertainment for today’s society. In early 2022, The Japan Foundation will hold two film festivals with different focuses, namely CROSSCUT ASIA Delicious! Online Film Festival which focuses on culinary and films in Asia, especially Southeast Asia, and the 2022 Japanese Film Festival ONLINE which screens a series of Japanese films from various genres.
CROSSCUT ASIA special edition featuring “delicious” films from Asia
CROSSCUT ASIA will be back with an online format that will screen 13 films from Japan and Southeast Asia in two special programs, namely 7 CROSSCUT ASIA special edition films with culinary themes and 6 Encore films! CROSSCUT ASIA from the 2014-2019 edition.
You can also enjoy other dishes such as interviews with film directors, menus from the embassy kitchens in Tokyo, and special lunches from various countries.
