VIVA – Indonesian mainstay racer, Galang Hendra Pratama admitted that he was very happy with the return of the MotoGP event in the country.
Indonesia will be one of the organizers of the 2022 MotoGP season. The most prestigious two-wheeled racing event will take place at the Mandalika Circuit, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) on March 18-20.
The Mandalika MotoGP is the first time Indonesia has held MotoGP again since 25 years ago, or to be precise on April 7, 1996.
The return of Indonesia to the MotoGP 2022 racing calendar makes Galang Hendra Pratama admit that he is increasingly motivated to excel.
“MotoGP is one of the highest world championships for two-wheelers, all racers want to be MotoGP riders,” said Galang at the kick off of the Mandalika GP Hub in Jakarta, Sunday, February 27, 2022.
“This motivates me to be able to excel continuously so that I can compete in MotoGP, especially in Mandalika,” continued the 25-year-old racer.
Galang, who is currently working in the Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) with the Yamaha Racing Indonesia team, said MotoGP would have a positive impact on Indonesia.
