VIVA – Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has matched a number of club legends at Barcelona as his horrific form continues with the Catalan giants.
The Gabon striker joined Barcelona at the end of the January 2022 winter transfer window on a free agent status after Arsenal agreed to terminate his contract.
The decision comes following Aubameyang’s dispute with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, which saw the former Borussia Dortmund player removed from his post as captain and left out of the main squad.
However, it did not take long for the 32-year-old to show his talent with his new club and tell Arsenal that they had a big loss to let him go.
Aubameyang just made history when he led Barcelona to a 4-0 win over Osasuna in a LaLiga match, on Monday morning WIB, 14 March 2022. His one goal contribution saw him score his fifth goal in his first six league appearances.
Aubameyang joins Barcelona’s list of illustrious players to achieve the feat and is the first to do so since Zlatan Ibrahimovic in 2009.
