The romantic drama Bridgerton will return with a second season on March 25. Like the tradition of the original novels, this new season will focus on the story of Lord Anthony Bridgerton’s eldest son (Jonathan Bailey) and his pursuit of love. Bridgerton Season 2 also released the latest trailer which shows more of the various romantic conflicts and scandals that await.

The scene opens with Anthony’s mother announcing loudly that her eldest son is looking for a wife. Having such high standards, Anthony’s attention has been focused on Edwina (Charithra Chandran), the youngest daughter of the Sharma family who has just returned from India. The viscount also has to deal with his smart and determined older sister, Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley), as part of his quest to get Edwina. Unfortunately, Kate, knowing Anthony’s real intention to get married, finally decided to get in the way of their relationship. In the midst of the feud between Kate and Anthony, a new feeling that arises between them actually worsens the situation. On the other hand, the secret identity of Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) is being threatened because Queen Charlotte (Golda Rosheuvel) is determined to find the person behind Lady Whistledown.
