According to the women’s singles coach, Herli Djaenudin, Gregoria’s performance was okay. It’s just that because this is the first match, the students still make mistakes several times because their adaptation to wind direction and lighting is not optimal.
“In terms of the game, Gregoria’s first performance was good. If there are errors, it is also due to the influence of the wind and lights,” said Herli.
In the second party, through a tight and tense match, the first women’s doubles pair, Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma/Amalia Cahaya Pratiwi, had to admit the superiority of Yeung Nga Ting/Yeung Pui Lam, 19-21, 21-19, 21-23. The position became 1-1.
