VIVA – The Mandalika MotoGP, which is less than two weeks away, has succeeded in attracting tremendous interest from fans both at home and abroad. Evidently, almost all of the available tickets were sold out.
Deputy Director of the Mandalika Grand Prix Association, Cahyadi Wanda, emphasized that the Mandalika MotoGP enthusiasts are indeed very large. However, it was centered on the third day only. Meanwhile, the first and second days, which usually only held free practice, did not attract much interest.
Therefore, MGPA also developed a strategy to enliven the audience on the first and second days. One of them by holding a concert.
No kidding, a number of top bands and singers have been prepared to entertain the audience. Some of them are Slank, RAN, PADI, and Pamungkas.
“Indeed, the third day of the MotoGP performance is definitely the busiest. We know that MotoGP in Sepang, Friday is free. So, indeed on the first and second days we will include several activities,” said Cahyadi when met at the official sponsor launch of the Mandalika MotoGP in Epicentrum area, Kuningan, Jakarta, Tuesday 8 March 2022.
“Like on the second day there will be a concert. There will be PADI, RAN, Slank, and Pamungkas. These are all a series of activities that we make not only to watch the race, but there are other entertainments,” he explained.
