star duo The Tomorrow War, Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Sam Richardson (Veep) is rumored to be working together again in Universal Pictures’ action comedy film project entitled Stranded Asset.
Sam Richardson will be the main character in the film produced by Chris Pratt. But unfortunately there has been no confirmation about the possibility that Pratt will also star in the project written by Richardson along with Jen D’Angelo (Hocus Pocus 2).
Details and plot of the film are being kept under wraps, but from a title that seems to be borrowed from a financial term about a party that suffers an unexpected loss, so perhaps the project has something to do with money — but on a much larger scale and will be set in a high-octane action film. Stranded Asset is Pratt’s second production with his new production house, Invisible Production after Saigon Bodyguards, in which Pratt will appear with Wu Jing and be directed by Joe and Anthony Russo.
Richardson himself is a fairly well-known actor in the action-comedy genre these days, having recently starred in Werewolves Within and Superintelligence on HBO Max. On television, he is known for appearing in series such as Veep, Detroiters and I Think You Should Leave. He is currently starring Marvel’s MODOK as Garfield “Gary” Garoldson, and as Chico di HouseBroken. He will also soon be seen in The Afterparty owned by Apple TV+, along with Tiffany Haddish.
While Chris Pratt will soon be seen in Thor: Love and Thunder, Jurassic World: Dominion, The Terminal List series, Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
