VIVA – World boxing legends from Ukraine Wladimir Klitschko and Vitali Klitschko condemn Russia for attacking their homeland.
War broke out in Ukraine just hours after Russian President Vladimir Putin declared a military operation. The Russian invasion began on Thursday, February 24, 2022.
Russia carried out attacks on Ukrainian airbases and military bases. It sparked panic and fear among Ukrainian civilians. Many are looking for an evacuation place, but not a few are still surviving.
The situation became increasingly tense, Wladimir Klitschko and Vitali Klitschko went down the mountain. The two respected figures in the boxing ring called Russia’s attack an “unreasonable war”
Therefore, they expect international support. The Klitschko brothers feared that this war would spread on a larger scale to Europe and even become World War III
“I call on all international partners to observe the current strategy in Ukraine and this senseless war that will have no winners, but losers,” Vitali said. Radio Talk.
“I just wanted to tell you that we must stick together against this Russian aggression. Don’t let it continue to happen in Ukraine, don’t let it happen in Europe and ultimately in the world. United we are strong. Support Ukraine. Thank you.” he continued.
