Not only H&M, some of the biggest Western brands have suspended their Russian operations in a joint action with a number of companies. In fact, this is the first time that Russia has decided to invade Ukraine.
H&M said its stores in Ukraine had also temporarily closed. It considers the safety of its customers and staff. The situation is continuously monitored and evaluated.
