TRIBUNNEWS.COM, KIEV – Talks between Russia and Ukraine resumed Monday (14/3/2022) local time.
Even though communication between the two sides is difficult, a new meeting is currently underway.
This was conveyed by Ukrainian presidential adviser and negotiator Mykhailo Podolyak said on Twitter, Monday (14/3/2022).
He posted photos of the meeting and the atmosphere of the conversation, which was being conducted via video conference.

Podolyak said: “The parties are actively expressing the determined position.”
“Communications are underway but difficult. The reason for the dispute is the political system is too different.”
Confirmation of the next meeting came after both sides said they were making progress in negotiations aimed at ending more than two weeks of fighting between Russian and Ukrainian armies.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Saturday that the Russian delegation for virtual negotiations with Ukraine would be led by Russian President Vladimir Putin’s aide, Vladimir Medinsky, just like previously.
Meanwhile, the Kremlin’s press service said on Saturday, in telephone conversations with French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
