The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2022 will officially take place on February 9, 2022 (Wednesday) at 10 a.m. EST (8:30 p.m. IST). The info comes from online users who reported that they were presented with a Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2022 ad on Instagram that directed them to a pre-order reservation registration form.
After filling out the form, in a pop-up completion message, Samsung revealed that they will be unveiling a new line of innovative products on February 9 at 10 a.m. EST via Samsung.com, where Samsung usually hosts live streams for their annual Spring.
The Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra as well as the upcoming Galaxy Tab S8 series are now officially open for pre-order reservations. Samsung will offer early discounts and bonuses for those who choose to make a reservation right away. There are also undisclosed “exclusives”, but usually a $50 credit.
The Galaxy S22 series is expected to arrive with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset while some models will ship in some regions with the Exynos 2200 chipset. The device will come with up to 12 GB RAM and 512 GB internal storage.
Furthermore, the flagship model will run on the latest Android 12 operating system with a custom One UI 4.0 overlay developed by Samsung. The top variant, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will include a dedicated S Pen Stylus in the device and pack a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 45W super-fast charging.
