There is a surprise from Xiaomi at the beginning of 2022. Yes! The Chinese smartphone and AIoT manufacturer has just confirmed to launch the Redmi Note 11 series in the international market. The smartphone will be launched in international markets aka global on January 26, 2022.
Unfortunately, Xiaomi did not reveal the model or specifications that will be launched in the global market. However, this smartphone has apparently been registered in one of the e-commerce sites in the Philippines. In fact, thanks to the list, we can now find out almost anything about the smartphone.
It is the owner of the Twitter account @swayneverrmint (via Xiaomiui, TechInsider) who found the list on Shopee e-commerce in the Philippines. It is said that the smartphone is priced at 8,999 or equivalent to Rp. 2.5 million for the 4 GB RAM variant with 64 GB of internal storage.
Yes! The e-commerce website page includes not only the entire device specification sheet, but also the image and the price tag. But surprisingly, the features mentioned in one of the images are different from those in the description section.
According to the images, the Redmi Note 11 will be powered by the Snapdragon 680 chipset. The device will pack a 90Hz FHD+ AMOLED display, dual stereo speakers, and a 50MP quad-camera setup consisting of an ultra-wide unit and a macro lens.
Lastly, the smartphone will be backed by a 5,000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. However, the product description says something else entirely. Taking a closer look at the specs, it is realized that the specs mentioned here are those of Redmi 10, which is also known as Redmi 10 Prime in India
If the specifications mentioned in the image are correct, then the Redmi Note 11 for the international market will be somewhat similar to its predecessor Redmi Note 10, which was reportedly discontinued soon due to a shortage of semiconductor supplies. So let’s just wait!
