The founder and CEO of realme, Sky Li, mapped out the closest future plans for the company after building its momentum in 2021. He said that realme had become the fastest smartphone brand ever to ship 100 million smartphones globally in August 2021.
“We have proven that in August 2021, realme was recorded as the fastest smartphone brand ever to ship 100 million smartphones globally. Following this achievement, realme’s annual smartphone sales volume reached a record high of 60 million units, an increase of 50% from the previous year,” said Sky Li.
Being Top 5 in 21 different markets, realme developed a mature ecosystem to serve users globally. The growing company has built a strong 5G foundation, expanding its role as a 5G Democratizer globally.
In fact, realme is also listed as the fastest growing 5G Android brand in the 3rd quarter of 2021. This achievement represents how realme will move forward in 2021 and open up further and higher opportunities in 2022.
“We will continue to continuously bring greater innovation in technology and design to enter the premium segment by focusing 70% of the company’s research and development resources aka R&D on high-end technology,” added Sky Li.
Looking at the range of technologies that have been launched, 2021 will be a strong year for realme. realme will continue to involve more young people to share the “Dare to Leap” spirit. 2022 will be an even brighter year, both collectively and individually.
