One of the mobile phone brands from China, realme, claims to be launching the fastest mobile phone charging technology. However, it is not yet known how much power they will use.

The Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2022 event will start in a week. The exhibition will begin on February 28. On the same day, realme will hold a press conference to announce the phone flagship the latest, realme GT2 Pro for the international market. Now the brand has revealed that they will be launching a new charging technology at this event.

Reported from Gizmochina (21/2), realme has revealed its plans to launch the ‘world’s fastest mobile charging technology’ on February 28. Unfortunately, realme has not shared any details about this technology, except that it will invest 70% of its R&D resources in innovation and charging technology.

Nonetheless, the company hints that the new technology will be faster than 125W charging. But to find out how fast, we’ll have to wait for another week.

According to rumors, realme will debut with 150W fast mobile charging technology. Tipster Digital Chat Station says that the technology is a rebranded version of OPPO’s upcoming 160W fast phone charging technology but at 10W slower. although slightly slower, it will use the same charger.

It is unknown why realme calls the upcoming 150W mobile charging technology ‘world’s fastest’ when Xiaomi debuted its 200W charging solution last year, which can charge a 4,000mAh battery in 8 minutes.

Maybe, realme technology will take less time even though it uses lower wattage.
