A recent leak confirmed the realme GT2 series lineup will be launched globally in March 2022.
The global launch of realme GT2 has just been confirmed. Previously, realme CEO Madhav Seth revealed the device will be coming soon in India. Now, the latest report reveals that the realme GT2 and the realme GT2 Pro will enter the global market in March.
Reported from Gizmochina (16/2), the leak stated that the GT2 will enter the global market in green, white, and black color variants. Smartphone has a 6.62-inch AMOLED HD+ screen, protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and speed support refresh 120Hz.
Regarding the runway, the realme GT2 will be powered by Snapdragon 888 with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh which supports 65W fast charging.
In terms of cameras, there is a 16MP front camera, and a triple rear camera setup consisting of 50MP with Sony IMX766 sensor, 8MP ultrawideand 2MP macro.
On the other hand, realme GT2 Pro has a QHD+ AMOLED screen with refresh rate 120Hz. The 6.78-inch screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. The device is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 which offers up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The device also features a 5,000 mAh battery with 65W fast charging. The camera specifications consist of a 38MP front camera, 50MP main camera with Sony IMX766 + OIS, 50MP ultrawideas well as 3MP.
Both phones run with realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12. It also comes with an under-display fingerprint scanner. Some leaks claim that the realme GT2 Series launch event will be held in early March.
