During Mobile World Congress 2022, realme unveiled the 100-200W UltraDart charging technology which will apparently be presented for the realme GT Neo3.
realme unveiled its UltraDart 100-200W charging technology at Mobile World Congress 2022. Based on the charging demo video that the company recently uploaded, the technology will apparently be presented for smartphone the upcoming realme GT Neo3 with 150W SuperDart capability.
This year’s SuperDart comes as an improvement from 2 years ago. In 2020, realme announced the technology with a speed of 125W. According to reports Gizmochina (3/3), the 150W fast charging solution that appears in the video is coming to the market soon.
The demo video also shows the GT Neo3 battery can be charged from 0% to 50% in an instant, just 5 minutes. Please note, UltraDart 125W with 4,000 mAh battery capacity can charge up to 33% in 3 minutes. So, the improvement is not too far.
During the unveiling of MWC 2022, realme revealed phones equipped with UltraDart charging will still have up to 80% of their battery capacity after 1000 full charge cycles. Phones can also charge at a lower speed, but with an increase in charging current.
In addition to the SuperDart 150W fast charging technology, the realme GT Neo3 is also expected to come with the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset. There is no information regarding the launch date of the GT Neo3.
On the other hand, OPPO, Xiaomi, and OnePlus are also expected to be among the first OEMs to release smartphone with the latest Dimensity 8000 series chipset.
