realme has officially announced the realme GT2 Pro flagship smartphone which is equipped with several innovative features. One of the nice features is the use of an eco-friendly bio-based material for the back cover. The case is said to be sourced from paper, soybeans, and other materials.

The use of eco-friendly materials might contribute to the lightweight design as the device only weighs 189 grams despite packing a 5,000 mAh battery. This device also features support for 65W fast charging, which realme claims can provide a 100% charge in just 33 minutes.

Another attraction, the realme GT2 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch LPTO AMOLED screen that has a resolution of 2K 3216 x 1440 pixels. The screen is said to be a flexible panel with support for a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1400 nits of brightness.

The screen has a punch-hole in the top left corner that houses the front camera. Meanwhile, so that the screen is not easily scratched, realme has coated it with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The display has also received an A+ DisplayMate rating.

In addition, this display also has support for a single 1000Hz game control engine, O-Sync 2.0 overclocking response. Users can also find a fingerprint sensor under the screen of the latest generation that can function to unlock the screen very quickly and also supports heart rate detection.

The GT2 Pro is touted as the world’s first device to pack a new generation of super-large X-axis linear motors. It uses a revolutionary full-speed matrix antenna system as well as the latest generation of omnidirectional Wi-Fi and NFC network enhancement systems.

As previously suspected, realme will immerse Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 into the realme GT2 Pro. In addition, realme also embeds a diamond ice core cooling system Plus which is said to be able to increase the heat dissipation area by 205%.

The nine-layer heat dissipation structure covers 100% of the heat source thereby increasing the conduction efficiency by 50%. The design also reduces the peak core temperature by 19°C. The smartphone also has a heat dissipation area of 36761 mm² which is possibly the largest in the industry.

In addition, realme also equips it with the largest VC tempered liquid cooling area in the industry, which is 4129 mm². Meanwhile, for the interface, the realme GT2 Pro will pamper its users more thanks to the support for realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12.

The smartphone is also equipped with GPU heterogeneous rendering technology which helps lower power consumption. realme GT2 Pro comes in 8GB and 12GB RAM options. The 8 GB/128 GB variant is priced at 3699 Yuan (Rp 8.4 million) while the 8 GB/256 GB variant is sold for 3999 Yuan (Rp 9 million).

If consumers choose the 12 GB/256 GB option, this variant is priced at 4299 Yuan (Rp 9.7 million) and the highest variant, which is 12 GB/512 GB is sold at 4799 Yuan (Rp 10.8 million). The device is currently being offered on pre-order in China and will go on sale on January 7. There is no news when this smartphone will be marketed outside China.
