realme officially announced the achievement of sales figures of up to 40 million units of the number series which has the slogan “Flagship for Young”. Based on data from Strategy Analytics, the realme number series was ranked 4th in the 3rd quarter of 2021.
Yes! This is based on consolidated shipments among the “New Era Smartphone Category” line which is defined as a smartphone product line that has launched since 2018, including the Reno series from OPPO, iQOO from vivo and Galaxy M from Samsung.
As one of the best-selling Android smartphone lines that reached 40 million shipments, the realme number series has made this history in just 14 quarters after realme 1 was launched in 2018. Previously, only Samsung Series A, Xiaomi Redmi Series, OPPO A Series, and Vivo iQOO Series had made this history.
As an illustration of realme’s milestones, in 2021, in the series of realme 8 launches, realme managed to set a record recorded by MURI. At that time, realme managed to make a fairly spectacular surprise, where at that time realme printed the largest photos directly from the realme 8 Pro.
In addition, still in the serial number, the realme 8 5G was also released as the most affordable 5G smartphone when it was launched. Meanwhile, the realme 8i which was launched at the end of 2021 also broke through by providing the first 120Hz ultra-smooth experience in its price range.
As said by Palson Yi, Marketing Director of realme Indonesia, that in 2022 realme will focus on presenting more premium products. This is one of realme’s product strategies to become No. 1 smartphone brand in Indonesia in the next two to three years.
“That’s why realme’s number series sales growth has increased significantly. The Number series is the mainstay of realme that we present to young people so that they can enjoy flagship class specifications with trendsetting designs and good build quality,” concluded Palson Yi.
