Riccardo Tisci officially left Givenchy fashion house after working for 12 years. The news of Tisci’s exit has just been announced, and based on reports WWD Riccardo Tisci’s last collection has been presented, which is on menswear and week couture in Paris ago.

“The chapter from Riccardo Tisci has been written at Givenchy fashion house for more than 12 years represents an extraordinary vision for the continued success of Givenchy, and I want to thank him for his contribution to the progress of this fashion house,” explained Bernard Arnault, chairman and CEO of Givenchy and owner of LVMH in his quote on Vogue.co.uk.

After the death of Riccardo Tisci, the next collection will be temporarily held by the studio team. Riccardo Tisci himself effectively left Givenchy as of his contract period which expired on January 31 yesterday.

There is speculation that Riccardo Tisci will work for Versace. This is also reinforced by several facts such as Donatella Versace who is a close friend of Tisci, who even appeared in Givenchy’s ad campaign, Tisci’s mysterious and sexy design style is also a plus point that fits Versace’s character. Meanwhile, who will fill the vacant position at Givenchy? There are names like: Peter Dundas, Hedi Slimane, Clare Waight Keller, and Peter Copping – who just happen to be ‘free‘ at this time, while the name of Olivier Rousteing, who is said to be leaving Balmain, is already being debated. We’ll just have to wait, Bella.
